5 things that get a fresher's resume rejected in 10 seconds

Before anyone posts theirs — the patterns that show up again and again.

1. The summary says nothing.

"Passionate and hardworking fresher seeking opportunities to grow." Every resume says this. Replace it with what you've actually built, used, or shipped.

2. Skills listed with no proof.

A list reading Python, SQL, Excel, Communication tells a recruiter nothing. One line about where you used Python beats ten skill names.

3. Projects with no outcome.

"Built a chatbot" is a sentence. "Built a chatbot that handled 200 college admission queries, cut repeat emails by half" is a project.

4. Two pages as a fresher.

If you have under two years of experience, one page. Always. A second page signals you can't judge what matters.

5. A file named Resume_final_v3.pdf.

Name it Firstname_Lastname_Resume.pdf. Small thing. Recruiters notice.

Drop yours below. Tell us the role you're targeting and the one thing you already think is weak — that last part gets you far better feedback than posting cold.

And if you spot something in someone else's, say so. You don't need to be a recruiter to notice what's confusing.
