Coding gets trickier when you try to switch off

I tried stepping away, going for a walk, even reading something unrelated, but the code snippets kept creeping back. It’s like the more comfortable I get with coding, the more my brain insists on running through every scenario nonstop. Has anyone else found that getting better at coding actually makes it harder to switch off?
