I recently came across a list of 12 Google AI tools, and I found it interesting how each tool focuses on a different use case, from research and productivity to image generation, video creation, development, and marketing.

Here’s my quick review of the tools:

1. Google AI Studio

A useful platform for experimenting with AI models and testing how different prompts influence the output. It can be helpful for refining prompts before building an AI application or chatbot.

https://aistudio.google.com/

2. NotebookLM

One of the tools that stood out to me for research and learning. It can work with documents, PDFs, and transcripts and turn them into summaries, quizzes, and mind maps.

https://notebooklm.google/

3. Gemini Gems

Useful for creating personalized AI assistants with specific instructions, context, and uploaded files. This could be helpful when you repeatedly use AI for the same type of task.

4. Google Veo 3

A video-generation tool that can create cinematic video clips from creative text prompts and animate static images with realistic motion.

https://deepmind.google/models/veo/

5. Firebase Studio

Designed to help users build and publish AI-powered websites and mobile applications with backend support.

https://firebase.google.com/

6. Gemini Live

Useful for interactive conversations and getting suggestions in real time. It can also be used as an AI co-presenter during live sessions.

7. Nano Banana

An interesting option for creators who want to edit, refine, and create different versions of AI-generated images.

8. Google Imagen

An image-generation tool that can create visuals from simple prompts. It looks particularly useful for designers, content marketers, and video creators.

https://deepmind.google/models/imagen/

9. Google Pomelli

This one caught my attention from a marketing perspective. It is designed to help businesses generate scalable, on-brand social media campaigns.

https://labs.google/pomelli/

10. Google Whisk

Allows you to use images as prompts to visualize ideas and experiment with different creative concepts.

https://labs.google/whisk/

11. Google Opal

A useful concept for people who want to build AI workflows or mini-apps using natural language instead of starting with traditional coding.

https://opal.google/

12. Google Lumiere

A text-to-video diffusion model designed to generate videos with realistic, diverse, and coherent motion. The research project also demonstrates applications such as image-to-video, video stylization, cinemagraphs, and video inpainting.

https://lumiere-video.github.io/

What I found most interesting is that these tools cover different parts of an AI workflow rather than trying to solve the same problem.

For my own work, I’m particularly interested in exploring Google AI Studio, NotebookLM, Pomelli, Whisk, and Opal more deeply.

Have you used any of these Google AI tools? Which one has been the most useful in your workflow?

I came across this funding news about Flam, and I found the direction of the company quite interesting.

Flam has raised $40 million in a Series B round led by QED Investors as it continues expanding its interactive content platform globally.

Founded in 2021 by Shourya Agarwal, Malhar Patil, and Amit Gaiki, Flam is building interactive videos, 3D experiences, and AI-powered Visual Agents for use cases such as marketing, product visualization, training, entertainment, customer engagement, and sales.

According to the company, Flam now works with 100+ enterprise customers, including Google, Reliance, and Hyundai, with more than 50% of its business coming from outside India.

The new funding will reportedly be used for AI research, product expansion, and international enterprise sales.

One thing that caught my attention is that Flam is targeting $100 million in ARR over the next 18–24 months.

What I find interesting here is the shift from traditional content toward interactive AI-powered experiences.

Could interactive content become the next major evolution of digital media?

I’d be interested to hear what others think about this.

I’ve been spending more time understanding what actually happens behind the AI tools I use, and one thing I’ve realized is that using AI effectively is not just about writing better prompts.

Here are a few things that stood out to me:

1. Understanding How LLMs Work

Earlier, I mostly thought of an LLM as a tool where I give a prompt and get an answer. Learning about tokens, context windows, function calling, and structured outputs changed that perspective.

For example, understanding context windows helped me realize why an AI model may lose track of information in longer conversations. Structured outputs and function calling also showed me how LLMs can interact with applications instead of simply generating text.

2. Understanding the Modern AI Stack

The AI ecosystem is much bigger than just ChatGPT or another single model.

There are model providers, AI tools, platforms, agent skills, and even vibe-coding workflows. I’ve found that different tools make sense for different tasks, and choosing the right combination can sometimes matter more than simply choosing the most powerful model.

3. The Practical Side of AI

One thing that is easy to ignore when experimenting with AI is the practical side.

AI applications have to deal with latency, API costs, reliability, and performance. A model might give excellent results, but if every request is expensive or takes too long, it becomes difficult to use at scale.

My biggest takeaway so far is that building with AI is not just about getting an impressive output. It’s about understanding the technology well enough to make the right trade-offs.

Still learning and experimenting with these concepts, but they’ve definitely changed how I look at Gen AI tools.

When I started exploring digital marketing, I had one simple goal get my first internship and gain real-world experience. But I quickly realized that simply applying to internships wasn't enough. I needed to develop skills and, more importantly, show that I could actually use them.

I started by learning the fundamentals of digital marketing, including SEO, content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, lead generation, analytics, and AI tools. Instead of just consuming courses and videos, I focused on understanding how these skills are used in real businesses.

Then I started practicing. I researched keywords, wrote content, created social media posts, worked on backlink strategies, explored AI tools, analysed marketing campaigns, and worked on community growth. Every small task helped me turn theoretical knowledge into practical skills.

The next step was building proof of work. I realized that certificates can show that you completed a course, but projects can show what you can actually do. So I started creating practical projects SEO audits, content plans, social media strategies, keyword research, and other marketing exercises. These projects gave me something concrete to show when applying.

After that, I started looking for opportunities across startups, agencies, small businesses, communities, and internship platforms. I also stopped thinking only about sending resumes. Whenever possible, I tried to show my skills, projects, and willingness to learn.

Finally, I understood that getting an internship is not the end of the journey. It's the beginning of real learning. Once you enter a real work environment, every task, mistake, feedback, and project helps you improve.

You don't need to know everything before applying for your first internship. Start with one skill, practice it, build something, document your work, and keep putting yourself in front of opportunities.

I followed this process, and it helped me get my first internship in digital marketing.

If you're also trying to get your first opportunity, start today. Learn something, build something, and show people what you can do.

If you have any questions about the process or don't know where to start, drop your question in the comments.

I recently discovered ChatGPT Dots, and the idea is interesting instead of using AI only for individual prompts, Dots can handle ongoing tasks and workflows with more autonomy. You can give an AI agent a goal, provide the tools or information it needs, and let it work on the task while you review the results.

For marketers, this could be useful for things like research, content workflows, reporting, and repetitive tasks.

The bigger shift is simple: we're moving from asking AI questions to giving AI responsibilities.

Read This Before October 9","

Just came across this and felt I had to share it, because so many people use Gemini every day without paying for it.

From October 9, Google is changing which models you can use in the Gemini app

If you're on the free version, you'll only get 3.5 Flash-Lite. Flash and Pro won't be available anymore.

I read about it on 9to5Google, which spotted the change in an updated Google support page. It comes after the compute-based usage limits Google introduced in May.

Here's the simple breakdown:

No plan: Flash-Lite only
AI Plus ($4.99/mo): Flash-Lite + Flash, no more Pro
AI Pro ($19.99/mo): Flash-Lite, Flash, Pro + Deep Think
AI Ultra: no change

In short, the free tier will still handle everyday tasks. But for deeper reasoning or complex work, you'll now need a paid plan.

If you're on AI Plus, Google says you'll get an email explaining when the change applies to you.

There's some good news too. Deep Think, Google's most intensive reasoning mode, was only on the $99.99 and $199.99 plans. Now AI Pro users at $19.99 get it as well.

Google also looks set to add low, medium and high effort levels for each model this month. Higher effort should give more thorough answers, but it uses up your limit faster.

Honestly, my first reaction was: free AI is getting thinner. It's not disappearing, but the best models are moving behind a paywall, and that makes sense given how much compute they need.

If you rely on free Gemini, here's what I'd do:

Before Oct 9, try your usual tasks on Flash-Lite. Emails, notes, summaries, quick research. See what still works and what doesn't. It won't take more than half an hour.
Write down the tasks that really need a stronger model. That list will tell you whether paying is worth it for you.
Keep an eye on the new effort settings. Choosing how hard the model \"thinks\" will soon matter almost as much as choosing the model.

My personal take: putting Deep Think in the $19.99 plan is a smart move by Google to pull serious users toward Pro.

One thing to keep in mind: the prices above are US prices as reported. Plans and pricing can be different in India and other countries, so check what applies to you.

Sharing this so nobody gets caught off guard mid-task once Oct 9 comes around. If it helps someone in your network, feel free to pass it on.

Are you using free Gemini or a paid plan right now?

Most of us have typed \"give me marketing ideas\" into ChatGPT and got back a list that could fit any business. The problem usually isn't the tool. The AI just doesn't know your product, your audience, or what you need the ideas for.

So I put together 10 prompts that give it that context. Each one sets a role, leaves [brackets] for your details, gives a clear task and says what format you want back.

What's inside:

Audience research and customer pain points
Content ideas, post copy and repurposing
Competitor research and campaign planning
Editing feedback, customer personas and a 90-day plan

Every prompt comes with an example, what to expect and one tip. They're plain text, so you can paste them straight into the free versions of ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.

Who wants to do a 14-day coding streak together? (free, 15 min a day)

We do one Coddy lesson a day for 14 days, starting Monday 12 Oct, and check in here every evening.

Coddy launched on Product Hunt this week. Short lessons, 20+ languages (Python, JS, C++, SQL, Rust, Go), a real code editor in the browser, streaks and weekly leagues. Its AI tutor gives hints, not answers, which is exactly what you want when you're learning.

How it works:

1. Pick a language on coddy.tech (free with a daily limit).

2. Do 1 lesson a day.

3. Drop a ✅ + your streak count in this thread every evening

My take: 15 minutes a day for 14 days beats a 6-hour weekend binge. The free plan has a daily limit, so it nudges you to come back.

The first 20 people. Comment IN + the language you're picking.

Type any text, describe a voice and a music style, and Suno turns it into a narrated track. It's open to everyone now.

It's called Speech (beta). Suno's own team says accents can wander and \"dramatic pauses may be very dramatic\", which is honestly the fun part.

Try this one first:

\"Read this message from my friend like a movie trailer narrator, with epic orchestral music: [paste a boring WhatsApp text].\"

A few more that should work well: an exam pep talk with soft piano, cricket commentary for your daily update, your own poem with sitar in the background.

My take: perfect for birthday wishes and roasting friends. For anything serious, it's still a beta, so check the output before you share it.

So I came across a site today that says it can get you AI certificates without you doing anything. You connect ChatGPT and it does the courses and the tests for you.

My first thought was, okay, this sounds too easy.

Looked into it a bit. There's no info on who runs it, and the page has Google, Microsoft and OpenAI logos on it while also saying it has nothing to do with them. That already made me a little suspicious.

But honestly, the bigger problem for me is something else. Even if the certificate shows up on your LinkedIn, what happens when someone in an interview asks you about it? You'd have nothing to say.

I'd rather do a free course properly and actually know the stuff. Google, Microsoft, IBM and a few others have free AI courses anyway.

I'm making a list of the good ones and will share it here soon. If you've done a free AI course that was actually worth it, drop it below and I'll add it.

Most explanations of RAG start with a definition. This one starts with the thing people actually get wrong.

A RAG pipeline is not one flow. It is two, and they run at completely different times. Miss that, and nothing else about it makes sense.

The first flow runs once, when you add your documents. The second runs every single time someone asks a question. Here is what happens in each.

Once: when you add your documents

1. Your documents go in. PDFs, docs, web pages, support tickets — whatever holds the answers.

2. They get split into chunks. Not by page, but into small pieces that make sense on their own. This step decides more about your results than anything else. A chunk that cuts a sentence in half will return half an answer forever.

3. Each chunk becomes an embedding. A list of numbers that stands for the chunk’s meaning, so that “cancel my order” and “how do I return this” land close together even though they share no words.

4. The embeddings go into a vector store. Now your documents are searchable by meaning instead of by keyword. This part is done. You do not repeat it until your documents change.

Every time: when someone asks

5. The question gets embedded, the nearest chunks come back, and the model writes the answer from them.

The question goes through the same embedding model as your chunks did — same numbers, same space — so it can be compared to them. The closest few chunks are pulled out. Then the language model is handed those chunks and asked to answer using them.

That last part is the whole point of RAG. The model is not answering from memory. It is answering from your documents, which is why it can tell you something it was never trained on, and why it can tell you where the answer came from.

What usually breaks

Almost every bad RAG result traces back to one of three things, and none of them is the model.

The chunking is wrong. Too big and the right answer gets buried in noise. Too small and the context is gone.

The retrieval is returning the wrong chunks. The model can only work with what it is handed. If step 5 pulls the wrong three paragraphs, a better model will not save you.

The two embedding models do not match. Chunks embedded with one model and questions with another means the comparison is meaningless.

When a RAG system answers badly, look at what was retrieved before you touch the prompt.

Most lists of AI marketing tools tell you what a tool is. Almost none tell you what job it takes off your desk.

At our second AI Connect India session, Anchal Bhatia — Product Marketing Specialist at Epiq — demoed four tools live. Not slides. Her actual marketing week, built in front of the room.

Here is each one, by the job it does.

HubSpot — one blog becomes six formats

You write once. The same piece becomes a LinkedIn post, a newsletter section, a set of social captions, and so on.

The work this removes is not the writing. It is the rewriting — the part where a good article sits in a doc because nobody had an hour to reshape it for four channels.

Frase — one keyword becomes a brief

You give it the term you want to rank for. It comes back with what is already ranking, what those pages cover, and a structure to write against.

This is the research hour before writing, compressed. It does not write the piece for you, and the output still needs a person who knows the subject.

Fireflies — every call becomes action items

It joins the call, records, transcribes, and pulls out what was decided and who owns it.

The job it removes is the one nobody does properly: writing up a call afterwards. Most teams lose decisions this way, not through bad meetings but through unwritten ones.

Zapier — one idea becomes a caption in your inbox

This is the glue. You connect the tools so an output from one becomes an input to another, without anyone copying and pasting.

Zapier is the least impressive to watch and the one that saves the most time, because it works while nobody is looking.

What the four have in common

None of them write your strategy. Each one removes a mechanical step between having an idea and shipping it.

That is the honest case for AI in marketing right now. Not that it thinks for you — that it clears the hour of handling that sits between every idea and the thing going out.

Google’s newest AI model is out, and it’s built for real work, not just chat.

Gemini 4 Argon went live on 13 October in the Gemini app and for developers. Here’s what Google says it can do:

🧑‍💻 Write and fix code: 77.9% on DeepSWE, a real-world coding benchmark
\n📄 Give up to 1M tokens of output in a single response (earlier it was 64K)
\n🎥 Understand long videos: 91.7% on LVBench
\n🔒 Find, check and patch security bugs on its own
\n🔗 Work with 40+ apps inside Gemini, like Adobe and Shopify

Who can use it right now:

Gemini app: Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers
Developers: Gemini API paid tier and Google AI Studio

For students and creators, the big change is the output limit. One prompt can now return a full project report or a large chunk of code in one go.

What would you build with it first? Tell us in the comments 👇

Ever wondered why some posts get so much attention while others barely get noticed?

It’s not always about likes, views, or fancy designs. Sometimes, the difference is simply in how useful the content is.

Before creating a post, think about four things:

1. Does it teach something new?

People are more likely to pay attention when they learn something useful or see an idea from a different perspective.

2. Can people actually use it?

Good content should help someone solve a problem, learn a skill, or do their work a little better.

3. Does it feel real?

People connect with content that feels genuine. Sharing real experiences and honest opinions can make a post more relatable than generic advice.

4. Is it worth sharing?

If someone finds your post helpful, they might save it or share it with a friend or colleague. That gives the content a chance to reach more people.

So, what makes content good?

It’s not just about getting attention. It’s about giving people something worth their time.

Of course, good content doesn't guarantee high reach, but it gives people a real reason to engage with it.

Let's talk: What makes you stop scrolling and read a post—useful advice, a fresh idea, or someone's real experience?
